For the Love of Summer

I'm loving the long days of swinging, farmer's markets, going to the beach as much as possible. Happy summer! 

amallia + joey

I knew it was going to be a good time doing this engagement shoot when joey said to me "I have a sailor sweater with me." Even though it was ridiculously cold, we tromped all around Old Town, and these two laughed a lot even when they couldn't feel their feet. 

I love hanging out with these friends, and still remember the day mols told me about joey, I had a feeling he was a keeper......I imagine them traveling the country in an old beat-up van, windows down, banjo music blaring, making new friends, and helping people out wherever they go. 

always be yourself. unless you can be a unicorn. then always be a unicorn. 

We found this strange little house, and I think they should see if they can live there. Doesn't it look like a nice little nest? 

 

 

tom + justina

The snowflakes were very cooperative for our little session with tom + justina. We wandered around the abandoned university campus and found picturesque scenes everywhere we turned.  It was so fun to see these two together, although I have known justina for a few years, I just met tom that day, and was very impressed with his willingness to go along with my antics. I love all the shots of justina laughing...pure joy. So happy for you guys! 

Bebe Mercy: Six Months Later

Now that the holiday hoopla is coming to an end, I'm trying to get caught up on all of the photos from the last month. 

Hard to believe that only six months ago, we were doing this shoot with little mercy. She has become a little ball of cuteness and has amazing cheeks.  

One of my favorite things these girls do is scrunch their noses just like their mama. 

 A visit with these friends would not be complete without a random outdoor activity. This time: ice fishing. We bundled up and embraced the cold while chad and the girls caught some lunch. A great way to end 2013!
